I think people are getting a little too upset here.
Ownership was always going to do something, that was reported by some insiders right from the get go.
They just need a day or so to figure out was fair for those involved.
The Flames always spend to the cap and aren't making much money, if any. To categorize the owners as "greedy" is simply wrong.
It's everyone's right to "boycott" the Flames from here on out over this. But in reality, I'm betting that the amount of posters that actually follow through on this plan is not material.
