With the risks it's basically the tradeoff for now. Private courses might switch to bottled water stations if they feel the risk is more mitigated with that but I don't think there's a chance for public ones to take on the potential liability.

With everything that's going on maybe it's time for golfers to double-down on their cool style and invest in a hands free hydration system:
