I haven't heard the new Modest Mouse or Bright Eyes yet. Hopefully those will buck the trend but otherwise, I would advise to pass on all the albums above. Sad really.

Yes, the new Shins has not impressed me much. Have not yet heard anything else on the upcoming list.
