Yes, I know the Cree language family is widespread across Canada, I was just wondering why they wouldn't have someone singing in the local language. But I guess this is more about the young singer getting a big chance to shine rather than the team specifically going out to find someone to sing in a native language for the novelty.
Does it reflect badly on the Oilers that Calgary is the first to introduce a Cree anthem singer?
