Let me just say first that this loss isn't that big of a deal in grand scheme. Flames have had a good stretch of games of late, and just need to the sustain the rate they are on currently. There's gonna be some tight losses, but Flames still control their destiny.
As for the bold. How much more experience does this core need until they are not considered inexperience anymore? They've been around for several years, majority entering, within, or post their peak phase, and have been in the playoffs two times as a group as a whole, and three for some others in this 'build' phase.
This is not an inexperience core anymore. They have experience. They've just haven't gotten far.
