It's a very safe statement to say that Ward is a perfectly acceptable head coach, possibly one of the better ones we've had considering he's improved on Peters' record and that was the best season since 1989. Hard to say how good he is since it's been a shortened season, but considering the roster he's been given, he's doing a terrific job.

This post completely disregards the quality of the roster or the performance of the GM. Some of the coaches on that list never even coached more than 100 games for the Flames.
There's a reason the Flames lack prospects and draft picks. Treliving has been doing everything in his power to make the roster pretty deep. He has succeeded, to an extent.
