Maybe Calgarians largely vote conservative mostly for western representation in parliament. They also like free healthcare and cheaper university tuition.
If you would've voted for the Conservative Party of Canada, but you also like Sanders/Warren, I'd be interested to hear your take.

The first thing is voting conservative here is like voting for a centrist democrat on fiscal issues. Most of the discussion in this years election was were Trudeaus behaviours more disqualifying than Sheers social positions.
In the 2015 election CP was 50% liberal, in 2019 55% conservative. This roughly aligns with the split between centrist democrat and left democrat you see hear.
