Rittich's goaltending is not elite. It is not even above average on the whole.
I know people like him causes hes a god guy, entertaining, and 'kinda' homegrown, but the reality is he hasn't shown he is anything more then an average 1B goalie.

So far, yes. But given how well he has played earlier in the year and over the course of his NHL career it seems incredibly premature to write Rittich off at this point of the season. Successful goaltending in the playoffs is all about playing your best hockey at the right time. There is good reason to think that Rittich can still be that guy in April.
