Yeah Talbot has let in some real stinkers in the last month. He played well today but the Flames were much better defensively too.
Rittich is the #1 and I think that’s appropriate based on their seasons to date and the the fact Rittich is the future and Talbot is not. You need to develop players by trusting them and letting them figure it out. Rittich won’t develop into a starter without being a starter.
I’d expect we’ll continue to see Rittich start 2/3-3/4 of the games and some fans continue to be baffled by it.
