Fighting in hockey exists because the league promotes the violence of the game because they don't know how to promote the skill of the game. The league is staffed by neanderthals who have their positions largely through the bullying and intimidation off the ice that they also used on the ice.

The top fighting team in the league this year is Anaheim with 22. That would be last in the league 15 years ago. 10 years ago - St.Louis led the league with 78 fights. Even in 2017 - C
