I think the Flames are playing well (for now), but they are in serious trouble of missing the playoffs. The Jets, Preds, and Wild are right there with the Flames.
I'm not that mad they blew that game last night as I think it's just hockey god stuff, but the Preds getting 2 instead of 0 is a massive swing.
I think it's really a coin toss if the Flames make it. I think Nashville will take one of the wild card spots and it will come down to Calgary, Winnipeg and Minnesota for the last one. I think of these 3 teams, the Flames have the best roster, but have been plagued by inconsistency all year long.
This weekend is huge for the Flames. Anything short of 3 of 4 points will probably have them out of a playoff spot.

They don't need to fall out for the Flames to pass them...Calgary could be ahead of both tomorrow afternoon...Also the Flames play both teams still. Divisional playoff spot is definitely within reach is all I am saying.
Either the Jets or Oilers will lose tomorrow I can guarantee. How do you figure the Flames will be out of a spot this weekend if they get 2 of 4?
