Whoever is on the point, who then holds the puck, looks for a shooting lane and then either puts the puck in skates, wrist shot wide of the net, or moves the puck over to Lindholm.
What needs to change is the player receiving the passes and not the system and that's why they probably went after Gustafsson left shot as opposed to Barrie who's a right shot. Now it's on Gaudreau to make it work, not
changing the powerplay system.
