One of the two of you is sulking...and it's not Brad Treliving.
Patience is the best plan here.
Knee jerk reactions are when you end up trading Dion Phaneuf for Matt Stajan and Friends, and Olli Jokinen & Prust for Ales Kotalik and Higgins.
Ideally Treliving would be selling UFA dmen to gain assets to use at the draft (whether in deals or as picks) but 3 injuries in our planned top 6 have kind of limited that.
His best bet is to not move assets to try and get this team any further either. Since last playoffs Gaudreau/Monahan have not shown anything that indicates we should be going all in, so smart to not try to buy.
If the draft comes and goes and we have the same roster then I agree it's time to look at the GM. But until then patience is the key here.
