Not taking control of their own destiny is what got them in this mess in the first place. The team often plays like they don't need to win because their direct competition will lose too so it's no big deal. They play uninspired and uninterested at times but if they actually gave a crap, they wouldn't be scoreboard watching.

At this point, their only real hope is if every other team in the playoff race with them just disappears. When you watch other teams, there's intensity but the Flames are playing like it's mid November. Sure, they can make the playoffs but if, and that's a BIG if, they can't depend on other teams to do their dirty work for them so they'll be pooched.
