Devil's advocate:
- We've been the
third luckiest team in the league for injuries so far. Of course this doesn't account very well for the unknown of Valimaki. We likely missed out on seeing Kylington at RD, or an LD trade much earlier in the season to address another need.
- The Peter's calamity might be the luckiest thing to happen to this team all year.
- The Brodie thing sucked, but it's also the kind of thing that could/should bring a team together
- Obviously the Kadri deal could have been great. Biggest downside is the impact on the guys who thought they were getting moved, and the general disappointment of no big change to address team needs.
It certainly hasn't been a boring year, but I think lots of teams have faced as much/more adversity.
