Hilarious that (c)Oiler fans pick on Hrudey who, admittedly, is a bit of a homer, but in the most benign way, like most colour commentators around the league are (including Louie Debrusk, who I like when he does Flames games).
Forget the fact that their direct comparable (sufferin'-sychophant Drew Remenda) is arguably the most biased on-air commentator in the league; almost EVERY SINGLE MEDIA PERSON covering the (c)Oil is an unabashed fan-boy, living and dying with that poor excuse for a franchise, waiting outside the arena after games (in the urine-stained alleys), shoving some tier-four child fan out of the way in the hopes of making eye-contact with their heroes, just to be able to record a seventeen minute podcast about the moment.
