I didn't think CGY had the right battle level. LAK won more races to pucks and just more 1 on 1 battles.

CGY wasn't terrible IMO, they just didn't finish possessions off (I don't mean they didn't finish ie score goals). CGY would play hard, exit well but then the plays would die before zone time or a shot could be taken.

CGY just kind of let up in their execution - the focus slipped in dominating an entire shift. It may be that they get too impressed with themselves or the praise really makes them rest on laurels a little too much. It improved after about 5 min of second for a stretch (they caught up and passed shots something like 15-14) but then fell off again.

I don't think its a huge problem - rather just a drop of like 2% in determination.

They have to outwork teams.
