If they don't enforce the law, this thing is going to become even more common place. This feels like a big experiment that probably the environmental groups are studying very carefully. Just wait until the weather warms up, this is going to be completely commonplace for every thing.
For all the people that are arrested, they're just back at the protests the next day. Half of the people at these protests have nothing to do with the protests.
What's likely to happen is your going to see counter protests in close proximity and then we're going to see acts of violence happen.

I think I heard Trudeau say he was going to leave it up to the Provinces to handle. The cost and inconvenience to the whole country, in comparison to the small group of FN people being affected, and the increasing disruptive number of protesters, demands an immediate and effective response from the Federal Government. IMO the longer it goes on, the weaker the Liberals and their "pass the buck" leader will look.
