That's a fundamental disagreement between the two of us then... and I didn't say the Flames should
only get Toffoli.
This team's biggest issue, #1, is scoring. Plain and simple. They have no real RWs and Toffoli would fill that hole seamlessly.
They're without Giordano and Hamonic right now, of course the defense sucks. Now I wouldn't be opposed at all to adding another defenseman or two, but I do think the #1 priority should be to address scoring. Toffoli is a big guy and I think he would perfectly complete the top-six.
Sometimes it's the little changes that perfect a team. But the Flames never make even
little changes mid-season. They make
microscopic changes. They don't even try to improve.
