Interesting signing -- before coming to the CFL, he played at Montana State (and was teammates with Alex Singleton) before graduating and transferring to Oregon (he became the starter but was later benched for Justin Herbert). Looks like there could be some potential there.
I'm glad we didn't go after guys like Jonathan Jennings or James Franklin -- guys who have likely reached their ceiling as backup fodder.
