Enough speculation from me anyway. Really hope he is fine.

Likewise

A tachycardia is just a term for rapid heart rate.

Depending on the root cause, exercise (adrenaline) could be a trigger.

I will give you an example - RVOT VT is a condition where in one example the root cause was some rogue pacemaker tissue in the right ventricle outflow tract, which takes over from the natural pacemaker when the heart is subjected to too much adrenaline, and the result is a heart beating steadily at, ex. ~200 bpm. Could be reset using a defib, or maybe beta blockers. Fatiguing as not enough oxygen is being absorbed

I think Gustavsson had SVT which was in his case an extra electrical pathway in the heart, also led to a tachycardia

These things can sometimes be cured by ablation (burning the conductive tissue cells)

There is an incredible amount of knowledge around the heart. Think about it like a pump - there is the plumbing and there is the electrical. Really fascinating stuff.

In general, I think I have a lot of confidence in the medical profession’s capabilities in certain areas, and am not instantly fearful of the worst.

I sure do hope he is okay
