Yeah I've been pushing for them to trade Hamonic/Brodie all year, even though we are in the playoff race.
But you can't do that with Giorando/Hamonic injured.
It sucks, but really there is nothing you can do about it.
Just need to ride it out and hope the team pulls together and at least makes a bit of a run in the playoffs. Real worst case is those guys stay hurt past the deadline, your team struggles and falls out of the playoff race, and you still couldn't move anybody since you needed the bodies.
I think the key for Brad Treliving now is to not double down and spend even more assets to try and salvage the season. Bring in cheap depth pieces (spend nothing more than middling prospects or 3rd rounder) but don't go "big game hunting" to try and bring in a big piece at the deadline.
