While I would prefer the Flames to sign Brodie to an extension and trade Hamonic, if that's not possible I would trade Brodie at the deadline regardless of the standings. Most likely Hamonic and Gio won't be out too long, so you can roll with Gio-Anderson, Haniffin-Hamonic and Kylington-Stone with potential for Valimaki to return. I'd also trade Hamonic if you can get a 2nd+ for him. Let people step up this year.
