IOC generates so much money from the Olympics. For winter olympics the marquee sport is hockey (arguably), so I think they should be paid considering the ridiculous money the IOC gets. The NHL knows what they're doing - the IOC is anything but a charity and the NHL knows that and they want a piece of that pie for their share of the sacrifice. Bettman is right.
