Anything payroll related is a pain in the a** - use a service like Ceridian or ADP. There is someone always available to do it (if you are sick or on holiday etc.), it's super cheap and if there are super finicky stupid bits that pop up like a miscalculated CPP or remittance or something they deal with it so you don't have to waste your time dealing with it.
