It can be both coaching and the players. Hire a proven coach, then let the player performance under him dictate which players we keep.
Ward's line changes after the 1st period killed our momentum. He's made a lot of other baffling decisions (not starting Talbot against Ottawa, putting Lucic on a 4-3 PP in OT, etc.) and our D-zone coverage has gotten even worse under him.
It's not all his fault but he isn't helping either.
