Strongly agree with #1, don't disagree with the rest but those can be done in the offseason.
I feel like there's so much uncertainty with the team from management down. They don't know who they are. Contender or pretender? Missing superstar gonna show up? Interim head coach. Buyers or sellers at the deadline? Its great to be patient but this team is floating around without a real identity IMO. At the very least a good proven NHL head coach can give them that.
The only clarity around the team is that when people think Flames, they think Tkchuck. He's the most important player on the team.
