Coach is looking like an issue. Hanifin having more than 3 minutes of ice tonight is a joke. Players not ready for the puck drop, again.
Johnny can just go. He's obviously unhappy here, disengaged as could be. His game tonight wasn't just soft, it was pathetic, shift after shift.
Lucic can sit a game or two for this effort, but we're stuck with him. Still take him over Neal though I'm not sure why at this point.
The team is mediocre. Flames best guys aren't as good as the league's best guys, and the depth guys are just that. Lots of very replaceable parts. Rieder, Ryan, at this point Backlund, Hamonic and Hanifin, Jankowski.
The best people on the team, Lindholm, Tkachuk, maybe Mangiapane and Rittich, and Rasmus Andersson, are good quality NHLers, but not really "stars" and our star checked out, he's playing rec hockey.
