Why do we call hockey pundits analysts? They're just media personalities trying to pump up interest in the game. Aside from say, Friedman, or McKenzie, do any of them actually analyze anything or have insider information? Using the term "analyst" makes them sound I don't know...objective...and intelligent as if they have more knowledge than your average fan.
Especially on an Oilers broadcast, they're paid shills for the team. Take their opinion for what it is. Opinion.
