I’m guessing MT fights Kassian next game.
MT has been geared towards being a professional hockey player his whole life, and has grown up with NHLers as his role models and surrogate older brothers. Many of them enforcers.
Kassian’s path? Let’s just say it has been different and leave it at that.
MT has a multi-year NHL all-star, 500 goal, 1000 point scoring father teaching how to navigate softballs like Kassian. MT also has a 6’3, 210 lb, 4th overall pick brother who he’s been competing with his whole life, who has just a tad more intelligence and street smarts than the oft-stunned Kassian. Kassian has David Staples, Kevin “Ferklund” Bieksa and Ryan the Rat Kessler. (Sidebar: How fitting is it that two of the biggest trashcans the NHL has seen in a while have saddled up to Edmonton - despite never playing there - and Edmonton, its fans and its media have saddled right back).
MT has legally and spectacularly exploited Kassian’s lack of ability to both think and adapt on the ice, not once but three times in the same game, to win the most important game of each team’s season.
Kassian has a picture of an actual horse collar that I snail-mailed to the Edmonton Oilers offices the other day.
So I hope MT takes on Kassian and puts him on his *** without even throwing a punch. Just to put a bow on this buffoon and his lack of ability to think.
