I'm glad we are saying horsecollar and not ragdoll (which to me is for when two guys are squared off with jerseys in hand and one of them is so strong he chucks the other around).

There are a couple circumstances where I could see a teammate fight over a legal hit - maybe on a rookie who gets creamed where the hitter had a less violent option, especially if it's clean but he went out of his way to deliver as punishing a hit as possible. But those are few and far between. There's plenty of room for sticking up for a teammate where you think it was dirty (but it wasn't). So if, say McDavid thought it was a head hit and stood up for Kassian, fine. But Kassian himself knows it wasn't - he was just embarrassed.
