Tkachuk was trying to throw a hard hit, if he wanted to take Kassian's head off it would have been easy since the big dummy was staring at the puck. He didn't.



The reason why the hit looks like they do was because Kassain wasn't wearing his helmet properly. Then he blew a spaz because he was made to look stupid not once, twice but thrice.


This wasn't about Kassian standing up for all of the league for a series of dirty hits. This was about Kassian, an incredibly dirty player who has thrown hits many times worse having his itty bitty feelings and pride hurt for being awful.
