That is sad news. I was watching the Preakness from the Mirage sportsbook. That place was abuzz for the race, but you could hear a pin-drop as soon as Barbaro pulled up.
There were no celebratory cheers following that race - the sportsbook took on a pretty sombre mood. He was one fast horse...unlike that good-for-nothing bum, Sweetnorthernsaint!
