He’s used to having Lindholm last year and Ferland, who knew where to be to get decent scoring chances and willing to pay the price in those areas to get the chances, where thst isn’t Backlund game by a mile. Again, chemistry and comfort for JG isn’t there with Backlund, and after 6 weeks of this, it’s a feeling that’s probably not going to change.

but also he looked terrible to start the season with lindholm on his line as well which was the whole reason they were split up in the first place.
Reminder that Gaudreau was playing on the 3rd line for awhile and was also terrible there as well.
he's been garbage all year
