Puck support and movement - watch their goals from last year, especially the top line. One touch passes were common. Now only Tkachuk does them with regularity

Agree with the above. To me it just looks like they stopped skating. Every time Gaudreau makes magic he's moving his feet. This year he's hesitating and is more than happy to coast towards the corner trying to make a play or a low percentage shot. I'm not sure if that's how they're being told to play but I see a team obsessed with passing instead of skating the puck East-West.
