I think the Flames need to do something at the deadline. If that’s Toffoli then so be it. I’m not 100% sold on him, but for the right price he can help.

At some point Treliving needs to send a message to this team by adding a significant piece at the deadline that he’s on board with them and is willing to help. Our team isn’t perfect, but they deserve the opportunity to bring in some help and see how far they can go. Ideally this would have been Hall, but what can you do.

Enough of standing pat and adding 7th defenseman at the deadline.
