Celebrity Death Christopher Tolkien
Passed today at 95, the son of JRR Tolkien and guardian of Middle Earth.
He drew most of the maps of middle earth and edited and pulled together his fathers notes to give us books like the Simarillian, and the History of Middle Earth.
He was harshly critical of the Lord of the Rings movie and hated the commercialization of his father.
