This is where it's a bit tricky for BT right now I think.
Since November 29th when Geoff Ward was named interim head coach the team is 13-6-1 which is the 4th best point percentage in the league.
So do you remove Ward from the spot which is pretty harsh for him and might shake up a locker room that has played quite well under him.
Or do you go out and get a guy that has a better, and proven pedigree as a top NHL coach.
Personally I think I would do it for Gallant as I think that's the better long term decision but get that it's maybe not that simple based on how the team has played. Initially I wanted them to do it for Laviolette but my stance there has softened too since I think he's more of a shelf life coach.
