Was hanging with a couple guys from our "gang" at the time. Smoked weed whenever we could back then whilst trying to engage with the fairer sex. Wasn't happening on this particular day.
Cold as hell out one day/night and one of the guys folks weren't home. I believe his big sister had purchased 2112 and was also not home and we needed warmth.
Went to the basement, put the album on, cranked it.
I was blown away. never looked back.
