Must of his fights were in his first season no? He hasn't fought once in a calendar year.

Him being an all-star is irrelevant. It's his style of play. No one expects a players like Monahan to ever have to drop his gloves. If he wants to stir things up that's great. Personally I love it and it makes hockey a lot more interesting. But occasionally he's got to answer the bell.
