The question is what role he'd have with Rogers if they drop the Flames regional games? They're not going to drop Shorthouse or Quinn from the Canucks or Oilers regional broadcasts even though he's better than they are. I don't know about Randorf, but I assume they gave him a pretty good contract to jump ship from TSN.
Would they keep him on the payroll just to call the occasional Jets/Sens/Flames national game that Hughson or Randorf weren't available for? Would he want to do that?
