It definitely should be a suspension. I wouldn’t be surprised if the league takes it “easy” on him and only give him 2 games. The league probably can’t help themselves from considering how everything played out... the flames got a powerplay that won them the game and tkachuk wasn’t injured. I don’t agree with that mentality at all though... they should strictly be looking at the isolated incident and the players history. The context of how the rest of the game played out should have no bearing on the suspension handed down to Kassian. He deserves 5-10 games at least but I know it will be much less than that.
