Guys, thanks, I thought I should clarify. I am an extreme audiophile nut, as they say. I have two audio rack shelf units – both made of welded tubular steel with s..tload of audio equipment. The shelving real estate is at premium. There is about 4" clearance under the bottom shelves to the floor. This is a perfect place for my 2 Fuhrman power conditioners, where all power cables come in (one PC under each rack). Right now they sit on the floor and I don't like it for several reasons. The conditioners are only 2"-tall + 1.5" of the shelves. So, I need about 3.5"- 4" of a bracket opening to simply clamp the power conditioners to the bottom shelves. In essence, a perfectly square c-shape steel clamp, 4" x 4"x 1" would do. I am not drilling any holes in the rack frames. Hence; the simple freakin' clamp seemed like a good idea at first...
