It does seem like Rittich is more of a clutch and Hail Mary kind of goalie. He sometimes lets in some mundane goals but then comes up big when it counts.
I am glad that Talbot is on a hot streak and absolutely bailed the team out the last couple of games, but more often the Flames play more apprehensively when he starts. Typical of how many teams play in front of a back up.
But I say ride the hot hand for now.
