Wait a second.... so now its on the coaching staff to get something out of Jankowski? LOL!
He is a waste of a roster spot, end of story. Even if you are an elite penalty killer (I wouldn't say Janko is elite BTW) you still need to show some resemblance of being an NHL caliber player in the offensive zone.
Any of the kids from the AHL could step in and kill penalties just as effectively as Jankowski and put up more then 1 measly assist in 37 games played.
