So CGY played the old disciplined STL collapse and box to perimeter game knowing no Hawks would dare go in to congestion the slot...so easy blocks and intercepts of perimeter shots and passes...If you want to collapse that bixcollapse to middle structure yo u nerd point shooters blasting g at their heads from the blue line.. then no player wants to risk hurting his head or neck from such a shot and they will start leaving more fee ice in the slot..but Hawks have no blasters fro the point to do that ...so I stead our low shots from the pii t and the perimeter shots get easily blocked or intercepted and we just cannot generate much.


Tge only way to disrupt that congestion tge middle defensive structure is to blast shots high at their heads..they at least will dick and get distracted for a few seconds Nd that leads yo chances IF our forwards then attack the rebounds in the slit area.But we are so fancy and timid and perimeter that we just do not do what is required to combat that structure.
