We all watched a lot of Packer games, when you're a national TV team who is successful you see them a lot. And yeah I'd agree with Rube's assessment, McCarthy might be a good coach at getting his teams prepared, but his in game management often left me thinking he was hurting his team more than helping. Garrett likewise was a terrible in game coach, but he still had a .559 winning percentage. McCarthy also arguably had the greatest stretch of QB play ever, and didn't accomplish enough with it.
