Further to my point, watch from 3:45 on about 4:10 on below video.
Rashaan Evans a beast, #54.
First he helps keep Burkhead out, after getting up after a block.
Then, flies through the gap on 1st and 1 to dive full stretch and take down Michel.
This was the biggest play because it was a great desperate dive, and he’s the only one that is stopping Michel from walking in...on second and third down he held more help.
Highlights don’t show second down because Nantz barley acknowledged that amazing defensive play after first down, as he was droning on (through the second down play as well) about Brady’s records at Foxboro. An odd time to start cracking those out but that’s CBS. Anyways, Evans and another guy make the tackle on Burkhead on that play.
Third down he again fires through the gap, and although it was a bit more congested, but makes the tackle.
So that’s 4 plays where he lone, or with someone else, make crucial tackles.
Pats kick fg, Henry then runs singlehandledly for the game winning td the next series.
But Evans made 4 monster plays in a row.
