I spent 3 weeks in Colombia with my then girlfriend (now wife) in January 2017. I followed a similar itinerary to emti, and don't have too much more information to offer.
We went on a biking tour of Bogota and a free (plus tips) walking tour in Medellin. Both were enjoyable and cheap ways to learn about the history of the country.
Second the Cartagena being HOT and muggy comment. We spent a day at Playa Blanca, which I do not recommend. Not a very great beach, difficult to get to, and lots of merchants bothering you to get you to buy their stuff.
Salento and the Cuoro Valley was also our favourite part of the trip. Cool town and beautiful hike through the valley.
Tayrona National park near Santa Marta was nice. Easy hiking trail as emti mentioned. We spent a night in the park sleeping in hammocks under the stars (I did not enjoy sleeping in the hammock).
Our last few nights were spent in Minca which we really enjoyed. It was a bit of a hidden gem at the time but was starting to become more touristy. Not a tonne of things to do except hangout and enjoy the views and go on nice easy hikes. I also proposed to my girlfriend at the top of Los Pinos here on our last night.
Hope some of this information helped you. Feel free to PM me as well.
Cheers.
