The fact that a harmless pass goes through 3 Rangers and results in a breakaway is unacceptable. Little details like that are things that this team just messes up consistently.

And I get Gaudreau is super fast but Trouba was skating like a 90 year old here. He had more than enough time and head start to at least not concede a completely uncontested breakaway.

Skjei is the king of the unforced error. He’s constantly giving the puck away and forcing bad passes when there’s absolutely no reason for it. It’s so bad.

Biggest mistake Gorton has made in my opinion was signing boneheaded Skjei to that stupid contract. They panicked and thought he’d be McDonagh 2.0 after a solid rookie year playing extremely sheltered minutes. All he’s done every season since is regress

The officiating in the league has been horrendous this year. Lindgren never threw a punch and Lucic got up and punched Lindgren in the face twice, drawing blood. Lindgren should not have been penalized, and Lucic should have been given a double minor. But, it's the Rangers in Canada, and so the refs play favorites. #### these refs.

Man the Flames are bringing two forecheckers everytime and the Rangers just have no answer for it. Way too slow and deliberate with and without the puck.

Passing play by the Flames on that goal. Panarin got caught on and island trying to cover 2 guys in transition. Stepped up to take the cross seam pass, Gave up the guy in front of the net to do it. Lindgren couldn’t slide over fast enough to cover the net front guy. Flames get the tip in goal. Nice play. Not really a breakdown in coverage.

Anyone want to try and convince me that Columbus or the islanders have more talent than we do? They most certainly don’t. How about Pitt right now wirh all the injuries? All winning mostly every night. They have coaching and structure. We do not. Quinn is the biggest problem in this org right now. Was a bad hire probably by necessity since no one wanted the job of a team tearing it down. But now? Wirh the guys we have? No way should we not be playing better hockey. No way. This coaching staff needs to go and soon

Scoreboard Watch

After the Oilers blew (another) 2 goal lead we have an incoming disastrous OOT in the making with the Sharks Flames Knights and Coyotes all winning or have won.

It’s pretty pathetic that we are relying on the out of town scoreboard to save us because we couldn’t beat Buffalo without Skinner .

Draisaitl would be much more valuable as a 70-80 point two way, 200ft playing 2C than a 100+ point one way winger constantly cheating on offensive.

RNH would be better suited as a responsible 2 way winger next to McDavid. RNH isn’t strong enough to handling the matchups in the West in my opinion. Draisaitl with his head out his ass is much better suited to that role.

McDavid even needs the ole Yzerman treatment when he is sat down and told to play a great two way game, a result that would net him less points and the team more wins. If he’s out there not back checking and wins a scoring title with a horrible goal differential what’s the point.

Until everyone buys into a team game McDavid and Draisaitl will continue to lead the race for Rockets, etc while never playing playoff hockey
